The Regina Monologues - script now available

This original script re-tells the familiar stories of the Tudor Queens as a modern comedy drama with contemporary twists. A rollercoaster ride of emotions; laugh out loud funny one minute and thought provoking and moving the next, this is a refreshingly original piece of theatre from an award-winning writing team.
It’s 2009. A bloke called Henry is driven to fulfill his family destiny. How do his women feel and react? What lengths will they go to in order to keep their man or, perhaps more importantly, keep their head?
The Regina Monologues re-tells the story of six sixteenth century women and the man they all loved, dragging them kicking and screaming into the twenty-first century. Their stories are personal, poignant and still relevant five hundred years on.

The Regina Monologues - Charity Performance
|
|
For one night only - Tidemark will stage a special gala performance of the hugely successful and critically acclaimed play The Regina Monologues in aid of the Bosom Buddies Trust. Tickets for the show on Sunday 2nd December 2007 at 8pm at the Abbey Theatre Studio in St Albans include supper and wine and are available from 01727 857861.
The performance sees five of the original cast reunited and joined by talented newcomer Ellena Spyrides as Katie.
If you are amongst the few who haven't yet seen this hugely popular production you should contact the box office soon as tickets are selling fast.
