Written in the same irreverent style as Tidemark's 2004 Fringe success, 'Odysseus', this brand new children's show retells Jason's epic journey to capture a manky old bit of fleece guarded by a fire-eating dragon and thus ensure his future as the rightful King of Iolcus.
But this is no ordinary re-telling of the classic tale. Jason's craft is the Astro, a space age vessel with a rather lippy prow and together with his faithful Astronauts, (a down on their luck rock band), he battles a variety of monsters as fearful as only the Greek could devise, on his exciting journey.
Packed with colourful puppets and cheery tunes, Jason also contains plenty to keep the grown-ups amused for sixty minutes too. |
