Odysseus and the Really Freaky Monsters
Loosely based (and I do mean loosely) on the Greek myth of Odysseus’ journeys after the battle of Troy, this tongue-in-cheek production will have you smiling at its ridiculous heroes and crazy costumes. It will also leave you cringing at some of the cheap shots and obvious jokes. Never to fear, there is enough to keep all ages amused, even the youngest will be entertained.
The almighty rock ‘n’ roll singing Zeus and Poseidon sit up in Olympus bickering about who is the more powerful. Odysseus is a pawn in their game as he and his crew are forced to confront strange creatures and venture into bizarre and scary places – just to prove who the greater god is. With lingo that would do Enid Blyton proud, they carry on in their quest in order to return home to Ithaca.
Give it a shot if you fancy something a bit silly.
