  About Tidemark Theatre

Tidemark was formed in 1996. We remain today a closely knit group, dedicated to bringing world-class, world-premier performances of fantastic new writing to a wider audience, through fringe theatre venues across the UK, with an emphasis on performances in London, the South East and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Tidemark is an experienced producer, from our first ever sell-out production of 'The Ladies' at the Guilded Balloon II in 1996 as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, to our most recent critically acclaimed '5 Star' (ThreeWeeks) 2004 production of 'Delicates and Smoke' at the Pleasance Courtyard, also as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, having a consistent track record for bringing high-quality, sell-out shows.

Beyond Edinburgh, Tidemark has racked up considerable recognition for both writing and production work, winning numerous awards including most recently in 2003 ’The Vow’ - Regional winner and finalist at the 2003 SCDA festival with Leitheatre and winner, Best One-Act Play Derek Lomas Playwriting Competition, Wellington Literary Festival 2003.

Tidemarks 2005 programme sees a number of new venues in London and the South East looking to host Tidemark.

Tidemark’s original work has been performed by many other companies throughout the UK and beyond.
